Enterprise migration to SAP S/4HANA represents one of the most complex and high-stakes transformation programs undertaken by modern organizations. The transition from legacy ERP environments introduces significant data quality, completeness, and governance challenges that, if unaddressed, can jeopardize go-live timelines, financial reporting integrity, and operational continuity. This paper proposes a comprehensive, end-to-end framework titled "Zero-Defect Cutover" (ZDC), designed to systematically eliminate data migration defects throughout five structured phases: Data Discovery and Assessment, Data Cleansing and Enrichment, Migration Execution, Validation and Reconciliation, and Cutover Readiness. The framework integrates SAP standard tools such as SAP Data Services, SAP Migration Cockpit, and LTMOM with enterprise-grade data governance, rule-based transformation logic, and iterative mock cutover rehearsals. Drawing on practical implementation experience across manufacturing, finance, and supply chain domains, the paper presents a structured methodology, key performance indicators, risk mitigation strategies, and governance checkpoints. Results from pilot deployments demonstrate measurable improvements in migration accuracy, reduced reconciliation effort, and higher firstpass go-live success rates. The ZDC framework offers practitioners, solution architects, and program managers a replicable blueprint for achieving data migration excellence in SAP S/4HANA transformations.
